Tizlu

Tizlu is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Germany. He studied art and technology in the Netherlands and combines visual art with media influences in his practice. 

His works are created entirely by hand on deliberately textured, tactile surfaces and, by eschewing reproduction techniques, are consistently conceived as unique pieces. Layer by layer, he develops his motifs intuitively and freely, resulting in works that possess a high degree of originality both technically and in terms of content.

In a multi-layered visual language, characterised by materiality and urban aesthetics, his works reflect the dynamism, rawness and spontaneity of public space. The focus lies on depth, surface and attitude – far removed from decorative or reproducible visual concepts.
